Access is part of the design.
How AUSHOME approaches inclusive reading, navigation and contact across this website.
Our commitment
AUSHOME aims to provide a website that can be used by as many people as possible, including people using assistive technologies.
Standards and approach
The site is designed with WCAG 2.1 Level AA principles in mind: semantic landmarks, logical headings, readable contrast, keyboard access and visible focus states.
Navigation and interaction
A skip link leads to the main content. Navigation remains available without JavaScript, the mobile menu uses native controls, and links have descriptive names.
Images, text and motion
Content images include useful alternative text, decorative marks are ignored by assistive technology, text can reflow at narrow widths and reduced-motion preferences are respected.
Known limitations
Accessibility can vary across browsers, devices and assistive technologies. Email attachments and third-party software used after leaving this static site may have separate limitations.
Feedback and assistance
If you encounter a barrier, email contact@aushome.online or call +61 7 5443 2715. Tell us the page, the problem and your preferred way to receive information. We will consider practical alternatives.
